LearnExperts is actively looking for a talented designer in Ottawa, Ontario with strong creativity, passion, initiative, and enthusiasm to join our team as a user experience and graphic design lead.   • Create user stories, personas, and storyboards.

  • Develop design concepts, graphical views and layouts for product user experience.

  • Contribute to creating product prototypes alongside the software development team.

  • Conduct usability testing of product mockup and prototypes, with the end user in mind.

  • Determine information architecture and create sitemaps.


You may also be asked to:

  • Create artwork for company marketing materials including website graphics, collateral (PDFs and print including brochures, datasheets, white papers, etc), and presentations.

  • Provide visual design recommendations that align with corporate branding.

  • Create multi-media presentations for internal and external audiences.

  • Oversee and art direct photography and videography


Qualifications & Skills


  • A user-centric mindset

  • Creative and analytical approach

  • Understanding of interaction design principles

  • Knowledge of industry tools such as Sketch, InVision, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Zeplin and OmniGraffle

  • Solid understanding of user-centered design and interaction design principles

  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement

  • Strong organizational skills and excellent at follow up and attention to detail

  • Adaptability, communication, collaboration and teamwork

  • Design thinking

  • Degree or Diploma in a related field

  • Preference will be given to bilingual candidates (French/English)
